Dairy Date: Pre Fun Day Walk And BBQ On The Saturday

Beautiful Brailes Hill

For everyone camping or staying in the local area there will be a morning walk from the campsite to our house, then time to recharge the batteries  with drinks and BBQ before walking back over Brailes hill to the camp site. The round trip is about 5 miles in total but is over  very hilly terrain. We welcome everyone and those who do not want to walk can sit in our garden and enjoy the views over the Cotswold Hills and help Jon with the food. If raining we will cancel the walk but the BBQ will go ahead as the marquee is big enough for us all to enjoy lunch in the dry. There will be no charge for food but we need to know numbers. If you can join us please put your name and numbers attending in the comments.
I will post this notice again at regular intervals.

Also, on the Saturday is the famous Wellesbourne  huge outdoor market and Roger Bannister will be judging Bedlingtons at the Redditch Open Show held at the Sports Connexion just 30 minutes drive from Brailes.

A Very Special Happy 60th Birthday To Eileen

It was Wor lasses birthday this week end so I made her a cake, orders taken. LOL

A very happy birthday to Eileen, hope you had a wonderful time and wow what a cake. It must have been upsetting to cut it!  Did you really make it Derek? The icing, bedlington and writing are amazing! I bet it was absolutely delicious.

News: Dog people form 'Canine Alliance' after vet check furore

Those present voted to invite the Kennel Club

1) To suspend the high-profile breed veterinary checks.

2) To agree that, on the available evidence from Crufts, the existing system is flawed.

3) Not to re-introduce the checks until they are transparent, there is clarity and fairness, and they are non-discriminatory.

The aim is that this will be a proposal at the KC's forthcoming annual meeting.
