Tonight's Crufts TV Preview
It certainly got me excited, shame no bedlies in the Terrier section. It sounds like there is an extra hall this year does that mean 5 halls? Do you have any thoughts on tonight's programme?
Who is going to win the terrier group?

I thought the Lakeland looked a cracking dog, hopefully when our judging has ended I may get a chance to see it.

i dont think they should have said what the dogs had won, unfair advantage,,

My pound is on "Dressed to Impress"

Bedlington's don't often do much in the terrier group - other terrier folk don't like their top line. I keep saying we are looking for flowing lines - but it passes them by!

Martin said...

Am I right that Judith judged group last year so 'Dressed' couldn't go through.

So I'm with Dorothy that's two quid on the Welsh!

Mark are you betting on the Lakealnd? Lesley has already bet on it but that does not stop you.

I WILL BE COLLECTING THE POUNDS ON THE BENCHES ON SATURDAY.

Good Luck to everyone a bit of fun never hurts!

If i was showing my dog she would win the group she is 7 years old legs too short for her body,is always scruffy but I love her to bits.

Mark how does an each way bet on the accumulator work?
Do we pay 50p?

maureen said...

i dont know how this works, will someone decide if we are to do a first place,, or an accumulator, and how much is the accumulator,?i think we all have to do the same, perhaps lesley would decide. it would be great if one of us got it right.

Lesley Caines said...

Lets do the accumulator for a pound a go, the person who gets the nearest wins.

I feel one of the reasons the Bedlingtons struggle in the group at crufts is that there is not a professional handler on the end of the lead. It would be fantastic to see a bedlie with a group placing.
We can only but hope this is the year!

i need some help with this,,i think i know which i would pick, but we have no outright winner, there is only 2 correct dogs in each bet, so i think the one that is in the right order should win,and that is norman, please help let me know,we must all be happy with the winning choice.

Mark said...

Maureen,
Norman has won it for me.
Is he a paid up membeR?

Tough decision, will he plump for the fortnight safari holiday in KENYA, or the ££'s for his prize??

MAUREEN said...

well mark if he wins it will be easy for me cos he has not paid me yet,,so that rules out the holiday, tough but thats the rules,,

SO IF THATS O.K. WITH EVERY ONE NORMAN WILL BE THE WINNER,, WELL DONE TO NORMAN.. WILL SEND YOU THE REST OF THE MONEY,DONT SPEND IT TOO FAST.

maureen said...

i have counted 14 bets and i will pass on the 14 pounds to norman on thursday, as our van is going in for a repair not far from where he lives, thankyou to all who placed bets, perhaps we can do the same next year.
