Oh and Happy Birthday Matthew - hope it was a good one!
Hope Jon is ok and all goes well at the hospital. xxx
o.k. folks the update,, lesley has just phoned the scan results are, it is not the spine, he has completly shatterd his hip so they are operating at this moment to put a pin in to keep it stable, then when there is a vacancy at the specialist hospital, they will operate to rebuild the hip with plates and pins,a long process,, the blood transfusion has been removed, his blood presure which was dangerously low has improved, but he is still bleeding internally, what a dreadful thing to happen, lesley is very concerned and upset as you would expect, your good wishes will mean a lot.
He's only done it because he likes the company of girlies in uniform! Seriously, hope all goes well for John, from all at Lowbrook, and can we borrow his camera?
Thanks for the update Mo,at least they're sorting Jon out now-no doubt it's going to be a long while 'till he's mobile and a lot of pain. Our Best Wishes to both Jon and Lesley at this worrying time.
jon hope you are not in to much pain, thinking of you,get well soon.
I have just got back from the hospital and Jon's ball socket has been pushed into and shattered his pelvis. He has had a small op this evening but will be transfered to Oxford as soon as there is a bed for major reconstruction of the pelvis. Once out of hospital he will not be able to put any weight on his leg for at least three months. Well at least he is going to be fine that's all that matters. Hopefully with all your help I will be able to keep the blog going. Thank you for all your kind wishes and support. I will keep you all updated on his progress.
So sorry to hear of your accident, hope you are not in too much pain Jon. You don't do things by halfs do you! Thinking of you both, keep your chin up.
Hope you get well soon Jon.From all at Janmark Bedlingtons.

there has got to be fish on the menue, or there will be big trouble.
It's all a Government ploy to shift the bed blockers. If the food doesn't shift them the superbugs will!
