Down and Stay
Parker tries his first KC obedience competition today
The down and stay was just one of the disciplines Parker had to complete today in his very first obedience competition. He did really well on all the disciplines losing just a few marks on the heel work. The winning dog got a total of just four penalty points and the dog that came last gaining 13 penalty points, Parker finished with 7 penalty points and finished half way with about 25 dogs taking part. I am proud of him as this is not easy for a Bedlington. We are going to try again at Stratford Dog Training club at the end of the month.

Well done Lesley and Parker-I think you have the patience of a saint to train a bedlington like you do Lesley.

Well done Parker and Lesley!
I'm amazed that Lesley is able to train these dogs to such a high standard! Especially when most of them think they know best about whether to stay or not - and where - and how!
