Tiffanie before the accident

I have just had a call form Trudie to say Tiffanie broke her femur this afternoon during a coastal walk after jumping off a wall. Tiffanie who is still at the vets on the south coast will be coming back tomorrow to undergo an operation to plate the bones together.

We are so sorry to hear about Tiffanie lots of love to you and please keep us informed on her progress .

Oh dear poor tiffanie-hope she's not in too much pain-dogs make a speedier recovery than humans-she'll be up and about in no time-just a stressful time for you.

Poor Tiffanie! and poor you Trudy, it must have been a traumatic day for you. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to one of our dogs. I suppose you just have to cope.
Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery too.

From Truide: Thank you for your kind words. Just spoken to the vet Tiffanie is settled and will have her op first thing tomorrow. Her leg will be pinned internally and metal rod with bolts into the bone on the outside! Will look like a motorbike rider after an accident! Photo's will follow...

Tiffanie's surgery sounds like a combination of our Dora's leg (the plating and screws on the inside) and Edd's arm a few years back (Scaffolding on the outside) Both have made a great recovery and I'm sure Tiffanie will, too. Fingers crossed for you both, and much love, all at Sevray

External fixators(scaffolding on the outside)are marvelous things and I'm sure that Tiffanie will be fine. Will be thinking of you both tomorrow.

Trudie says Hurray hurray Tiffanie is coming home today at 2pm.(Operation went well yesterday and Tim the vet is very pleased with her progress today.) I can't wait.. I didn't realise how much of my life she takes up! Tobie is really missing her.. which surprises me as all she does is beats him up!
