Marie - could that be a Skye Skyn lying on your floorMade the mistake of buying Mac a pet version (a second that looked as if it came from a three legged sheep) and now he thinks all the other skins are fair game and gathers them into his bed when we are'nt looking

rare breed sheep maureen - from a tannery in the north of Skye - any that turn out misshapen are sold as petmatspricey - but last for yearsmac really abuses his - drags it around the place like a comfort blanket - and on a bad day has been known to hump it!!!!!!!
can you wash them?
Yes Maureen you can wash them in a wool wash (preferrably with a lanolin shampoo). Then you brush it up with a slicker as you would a bedlington!Here's the website:www.skyeskyns.co.uk
