Blog reopens on Monday 17th December
Good evening to you all the blog will open as usual from Monday. To place comments you are going to need a blog account. If you go to comments now you can open your account. Hopefully we will get going again with out Junior reporters, Monday, the Midland report Tuesday, Wales Wednesday North East Thursday, London and Home Counties Friday, Scotland Saturday and Our U. S. A. report on Sunday. Get your cameras ready as I shall be running a new Christmas photographic competition. As from this very minute I will be accepting photos and news ready for next week. It is a very quiet time of the year regarding Bedlington shows and activities so the blog needs your help, I would love to add extra material to our daily reports. Paul Eardley is judging the breed this weekend so if you are going do take your camera. We will all be wishing Sarah Collier the very best of Luck in her Junior Handler Of the Year competition on the 17th. And last but not least I can't wait to see the photos of our little rescue Honey being handed to Madeline who is collecting her on Saturday from Kent. Hopefully we will get to see Honey regularly on the blog.
See you all on here Monday don't get stressed with the crowds at the shops this weekend, luckily I have done most of my shopping but still have to sort out all the food. Margaret Inglis stays with us over Christmas so we have 7 Bedlingtons in the house all trying to get the best position in front of the fire, should make a great photo. Don't forget to send me photos and news for next week.
Bye for now
Lesley

im so glad were back on the blogg THANKS.

matthew said...

glad all is sorted.
the comment i made last night was directed at the person that got the blog closed.
it wasn't directed at mrs janet taylor
if it was, i would have mentioned her name or told her personally but i thought that would have been obvious!?
sorry about my 'such vulgar' language and the way in which i said everybody that owns a bedlington terrier is 'gunning' mr or mrs anonymous down.
maybe i should have said 'tracking' or 'searching' them down.
meaning we all want to find out who 'anonymous' is!!

happy xmas everybody.
that means mr and mrs taylor too!

Well done Lesley and Jon
Roll on Monday

matthew said...

for once i am gobsmacked!!!
keep drinking the mulled wine.

Hello Mathew, I know just how upset you were at the blog closing and cross that it had come down to me closing it. I suppose I am over sensitive but we have a good thing going here and but by nook or by crook this blog will untie folk. We all have different opinions on the breed but here we are one bedlington family whatever!

I`m ready ;0)

I've gone all posh, just in case another Mark blogger joins?

Now then, where did I put those photos?
Did I hear competition mentioned? Hope its a christmas pud for the winner.

;-)

maureen said...

no mention of a prize yet, wonder what it will be.and who is the judge.

Lesley R Caines said...

All the puds are taken but if you want a pud for a prize for next year you will have to wait until November 08 when I get the mixing bowl out.

maureen said...

lesly is it nook or hook

maureen said...

i dont think you should say who the judge is, more suspense.

Tina W said...

you like suspense Mo.

Mark - Janmark Bedlingtons said...

on what day will the rules change?

Maureen, several people have likened you to Dot, who's dot?

Tina W said...

I have just switched my computer off and when I switched back on had to re-do all my blogger account-will I have to create an account every day or did I do something wrong?-I verified my account the 1st time with the email I was sent-another verification notice hasn't been sent.

o.k.you are the several people, i bet you wont tell me? but she is older than me,///she has had an easier life than me, and she hasn't got 4 bedlingtons, dont tell me i have to change my blogger name to DOT,IT TOOK ME LONG ENOUGH TO WORK THIS ONE OUT,

e.tuck said...

lesley - msy be a bit late to do this but how about a 'review of the year'

You and Jon could pick out the best 12 photo's from each month - picking a selection from show, working and pet

We could then ask a celebrity (Maureen - AKA Dot - or Mark - AKA Minty) to pick the overall winner for the year.

Happy to supply a prize if you think it might work.

Elaine

Good morning Lesley and all blogers
just checking its still working only 3 days to go.

Viv at Sevray said...

Glad to see you back! Yuletide Greetings to one and all

Lesley R Caines said...

Good idea Elaine we will run a best 07 blog photo in the New year, I think the blogers could pick their favoutite photo. That would keep them quiet searching the archives and you could be the judge! Thanks Elaine

Hi Tina, Just to let you know , Ralphies coat has been enhanced by some very iffy photography due to a very , very dull day. We just wanted to show the shape really. He has got a nice dark coat at the moment but it's not quite that dark. Sorry for confusing anyone!
His dad is Jetsway Harvey Wallbanger and his mum is Ratzwell Sweet Dream.

I too am delighted to see that the blog will continue. I am only a pet owner but living down south I very rarely (once in 15 years) see another Bedlington or owner!! so I enjoy seeing so many up to similar antics as my own here. I have even managed to obtain a 2008 calender from details on this blog so thank you. Your audience if far wider than maybe you are aware.

Lesley R Caines said...

Thank you Jackie and thanks go to all of the new blogers who have introduced themselves not only here on the site but emailed me to say how much they enjoyed bedlington picyures, it is just fantastic.
I think there are still calendars availble check out the "for sale and wants)in the index colomn on the home page if you would like one. See you all on Monday with the latest news and opening of our new competition

I love reading all about your UK shows and all your Bedlingtons (pet and show) as they are not a common breed here in Australia. PS Lily's puppies arrived Saturday morning 1 blue M and 1 blue F
