I am the proud paternal grandmother of these little sweeties. There are, I think, fourteen Bedlies in New Zealand with the arrival of these puppies. My boy Jed enjoys obedience and agility with reasonable success but I no longer show him as he is always the only entry. There have been Bedlingtons here in the past but they have never caught on, can't understand why!! Judith

Hello Judith

Glad you looked at the site. Well done Jed on increasing the Bedlington population of New Zealand. Your bairns look lovely.

Keep the blogs and news from NZ coming in.

Welcome Judith to bedlingtonpictures, up until Derek sent me the link I did not know of any Bedlingtons in NZ. I do hope you will send us some photos and all the news from down under.I have four Bedlingtons ages ranging to eleven( my show dog Bakabaks breeding) and they all compete at agility and two at heelwork to music.

Judith Is Bakabaks Sunflower the mother or grandmother to the pups?
I am a litte confused? Kevin Mumford will be delighted to know his breeding is on the other side of the world.

sory but I don't know how to put photos up. I'm hoping to get some heelwork to music for our national later in the year, but Jed is not a quick thinker and it will have to be a slow waltz. Our agility is limited to getting clear round certificates and aiming for ADX as I am too old to run fast and have no hope of winning but we have great fun. He won aa bronze medal for cross country earlier this year, that was the best fun ever. He has CDX and starting to do well in obedience, he is keen to please but a bit of a challenge and of course it is hard to compete with all the Border Collies and Golden Retrievers. He is a sneaky bully to my spoilt Papillon but most of all he is my darling Bedly pet. He is my third, I had a Juverna dog in England 55 years ago and a bitch here in NZ about 30 years ago, when there were a few around. Cheers from NZ
