Bedlington Fun day 09 camping
For those of you who did not go to the last Fun Day I found a photo in the archives to show the camping field . As you can see there is a very large area for camping behind the hall. The field is NOT used for livestock and is regularly mowed.

None available! There is a very nice camp site near Morton in the Marsh with full facilities.

It looks like a lovely venue. I am sure the weather will be beautiful and all will have a very enjoyble day.

Moreton le Marsh is supposedly a very good site.

The field looks good to me.

How far to the nearest shop / pub ?

Mark there are two pubs in the village both do food one especially good fish and chips! Just across the road from the hall is the paper shop, butchers and fantastic french bakery. A little way up the road is the Post Ofiice( to be closed at some point) but they sell gorceries dairy produce and freshly baked pies, sausage rolls etc,
Shipston on Stour is the nearest small town about 4 miles, with a small Somerfield store, Moreton in Marsh about 7 miles. Two large camp sites at Moreton one Caravan club. Between Moreton and Brailes about 4 miles from the venue is a fishing site with electrical hook up. Martin stayed there last time and he could tell you more.
