Good morning and how nice to see the sun this morning, no show or agility for us today so off over the three hills to give the dogs a good run. Being Saturday we hear from Marie with Briagha and Cody up in Scotland
Last weekend Cody managed to limbo dance under the gate again, but thankfully he didn't wander far. I've managed to reinforce the gap with chicken wire, so it should be okay for now. We had every weather element thrown at us in one day last Sunday, including thunder and lightning whilst I was out sorting the gate. The dogs were completely fine with the thunder, but when the heavens opened with hailstones we all had to run back to the house. Of course the dogs were much faster than I, and Briagha was soon standing at the door thinking 'hurry up mum, we're getting soaked here'. Aside from that, things are pretty quiet and normal up here so nothing else to say really!
Thank you Marie it is just amazing how they can get down very low to escape under a gate, we had this problem with Parker he could squeeze his body through the tiniest cap!

We'll have to rename him Houdini.

Larry can squeeze out of our dog run and the picket fence posts are only just over three inches apart. He's also very good at climbing trees and fences. That's why our garden fence is so high.

I do think that bedlingtons are escape artists when they want to be.

He was still trying to sneak out under the new chicken wire this morning. Probably because I was giving him a haircut just before that! lol

Hmm, he disappeared into the darkness this evening. I went out with a torch and he was at the other side of the gate waiting to get back in!!
So much for the chicken wire.
