More On Rescue: Poppy Has A Forever New Home

Poppy found at last. I have been on Poppy trail for over a week
she was in kennels in Huddersfield then transferred to Wakefield, as you can see she was in a terrible state. I saw this picture of her on their web-site and offered to pick her up only to find out that she had been moved again, but they would not say where I feared the worst. Then a phone call from Carmel saying that there was a bedlington in "Half Way Home Dog Rescue" Nr Newark the same kennel that K9 Sapphire had been in, it turned out to be Poppy.
She has now got a forever home in Burton-on Trent with Joy & her husband.  Regards Tony ( Bedlington Terrier Rescue)

064 Poor Poppy she does look in a state in this photo, but I am sure she looks really pretty now. Tony maybe you could ask Joy to send us a photo. I wonder why the Wakefield kennels were not helpful, it surprises me as you are one of the bedlington rescue team! Thank you for telling us about Poppy

It's great when they are found forever homes and I bet she feels a lot better for having a bath and tidy up.

Hi,

Tony do you know why she was transferred to Wakefield, and any reason why the Huddesfield kennel was less than helpful. Perhaps the Huddesfield kennel should be sent full details of our rescue set-up and tell them that their cooperation in any future bedlingtons in need would be very much appreciated.
