Fun Day and Weekend update


Come and join in the doggie fun day hosted by The Bedlington Terrier Association. In the morning from 10 am until 12 30pm in the village hall you can watch invited top Show Bedlington Terriers of 09 being judged in a competition.

At 11.30am Kennel Club Good citizen Bronze Tests (open to all dogs) will take place in the pavilion, registration from 1030am . For more information on the test or if you would like to book a test place ring Lesley on 01608686332 One Place Remaining

Grooming Demonstration in the marquee by Peter Kiernan, for a chance to have your dog beautifuuly groomed in the morning bid in the blog auction to take place at the beginning of May. Starting bid only £5. Two afternoon groomimg slots will also be drawn from the raffle at lunch time. All proceeds to bedlington Terrier Rescue And Re-homing.

After the lunch break the fun races for all dogs begin at 2pm, to include, mother & dog race, bone & spoon race, two dogs one handler, child under 12 years & dog race. Fun Classes to include, veteran dog over 7 years, scruffiest dog, dog with the waggiest tail, dog the judge would like to take home and a fancy dress competition.

If you have a rescue dog join in the parade of rescue dogs

Have a go on the dog agility course

If you have a terrier why not enter it in the terrier racing

The fun day is for everyone and all dogs, lots of prizes and rosettes. If you don't have a dog why not just come along and watch all the activities. Home cooked food will be served all day in the village hall or bring along your own picnic.For more information please phone Lesley on 01608686332

Antique and general household auction sale in the village hall from 10am, something for everyone! If you would like to auction an item it must be registered in the hall by 4pm Friday night. Viewing 8:30am Saturday, sale begins 10:30am

Wellsbourne outdoor Market, 20 mins drive, (one of the largest markets in the country).

Scenic walk from the camp site 230pm to our house, sundowners and hamburgers in the marquee in the garden. Everyone welcome! If you don't want to walk just drive over and sit in the garden, please bring your own chairs

Saturday evening in the hall is film night! Watch Julie and Julia Directed by Nora Ephron. With Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci. Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession is intertwined with blogger.



We can't wait to be sitting in the deck chairs soaking up the sun and watching all the fun of the games.
