The Makem Weekend

Sunday saw us at Lanchester Agricultural show.  Not the Royal grand affair attended by "The Fen Gang" but a more modest show here in Co. Durham.  But Ohhhhhhh what a difference in the weather, howling wind blowing off the distant fells and rain looming all the time, even had to take the shorts off half way through the show, now! now! just to put on warmer trousers.

Only two Bedlington entered both Makems.  Lewis's Makems Lavender Lady, Dusty,  who was BOB and went on to 3 Puppy Group and McNally's Makems Caught In The Act., TJ, Dusty's brother.  Both pups were their usual play full selves in the ring and were well wind swept along with their handlers by the end of the show.

Final placings in the puppy group

Thank you Derek, well done with Dusty. I love the agriculture  shows, the  CLA game fair is being held locally this year at Ragley Hall and we will definitely have a day there, unfortunately you need more than a day to see everything! I can’t wait to let  Parker run the  lure course he really enjoys the chase!
