A Sad Tale From Pat!!!

I had an encounter this weekend with a tramp! he had a bedlington whippet, but very bedlington, I spoke to him and he inherited the dog, which was lovely, a little girl. very very thin, the guy slept outdoors, as there is no body that will accept dogs, I am guessing he was an alcoholic. the dog was shivering, I had to meet David in an hour, so instead of shopping I spent the hour trying to find a shop on Sunday that sold dog food, I did, then I chased around trying to find this guy. the dog was ravenous, why do they let them keep these dogs, she would have made a lovely pet, when I met David I was upset, why are you upset he said? because you didnt buy anything, I never let on, but wanted to find the dog and buy her. no sleep last night.!

Goodness Pat there must be so many dogs not only in rescue but dogs that are not looked after properly by those who can’t afford them and also those who have the money but  don’t care about their wellbeing!. I know how much seeing  this little dog would upset you!

thanks for posting that les, not much sleep since, as my mind is working overtime in this weather. I think once this guy has his fill of alcohol he wouldnt bother with the dog trying to keep it warm etc.the reason they get a dog is to get the extra 7 pounds per week, they are offered for dog food, obviously they dont spent it on the dog!! what with that and poor jakey, I think I have aged about 10 years. then there is Many tears, she rescues dogs from breeders, some of them have never seem the light of day, and she is asking everyone that visits the site to pay 1.50 to help get the sight restored in some of the dogs. please if you can log on and donate even a pound. thank you.
