The Fun Day venue at Brailes is now being chosen as a venue by dog clubs. The hall and adjoining field hosted its first dog club event with BTA Fun Day 4 years ago. Last summer the Italian Greyhound club chose Brailes to host its Fun day. I don’t suppose it will be long before Brailes village hall hosts its first dog show.
Tomorrow (weather permitting) there is a a fun lurcher simulated coursing meet from !0am until 4pm
On April 28th and 29th Brailes is hosting a big two day lurcher meeting. People will be attending from all over the country. Camping available more details from Tom on 01608 737434
It is very frustrating for me as I live on the doorstep and the April show is only for lurchers, I cannot compete with Asha (being a terrier) even though she is a Wales simulated coursing champion having beaten lurchers and whippets.
