Wednesday’s News From Wales

sn

Good morning, Bloggers. As you can see by the photo, we've had quite a lot of the white stuff. The dogs love running around in the snow but come in with snowballs on their legs so have to be dunked in a tub of luke warm water to get them off. They had a great time on the Forestry road with their friends Ossie the labradoodle and Guiness the standard poodle. It's very cold here so I expect the snow will linger for a few days. the pavements are icy so it makes walking dogs quite difficult.
The Terrier Club of South Wales are now on Facebook and there are some good photos of the best in show winners from the past. It has been won by Bedlingtons three times in recent years and their photos are all on there. I wonder who will be the first to find out who they are?
I've just checked the Kennel Club web site and there are 89 dogs with 93 entries for Crufts this year.
Last weeks garden photograph was The Sensory Garden at Lindsfarne - Holy Island - in Northumbria. It had won a Gold medal at Chelsea. We visited on the way home from SKC a couple of years ago. I thought the Makems would have got that one! Enid

Thank you Enid, luckily the white stuff did not venture over the border, it looks quite slushy in the photo but absolutely lethal to walk on when it freezes. It is nice that the Terrier Club of South Wales has a Facebook page, i know this is a popular club and the Facebook page will certainly help to boost the club’s profile. The Cruft’s entry is slightly down this year but still a good entry when you consider  the lower breed entries at some  2011 champ shows!

what a lovely picture, but sad for the doggies that have to stay out in it. I am so worried about the little bedlington girl belonging to the tramp, I wish I could rescue her. its very cold here too. x I hope Jake gets back today.

Quite a while since we were up at Holy Island so not seen the garden. Glad you didn't get bogged down on the crossing as a lot of folk from the souf seem to do.

No snow in Shiney Row just wall to wall sunshine this morning, so far, LOL.
