The K9 Marshall Crew’s Busy Easter

Hello All ,
Happy Easter to all of our friends on the blog and we hope you all haven't over done it with the chocolate eggs that the Easter bunny brings to one and all. Sapphire and Jazz have had a busy weekend. With it being my weekend off work we started off on Friday by picking our friend Biggles up, hitching the trailer up, and heading of to the airfield to get some top soil. Once we had loaded a ton of soil on to the trailer we had a walk around the airfield before heading off  to Oswestry (to someone I go and see in my job) to put some of the soil on the front garden so they could have a flower bed. The rest of the soil was for our friend Biggles to put in his back garden. By the time we got home Sapphire and Jazz said their little paws were aching with all the playing and work they had done, so they spent the rest of Friday evening with their paws up relaxing in front of the TV watching a rally DVD from their collection.
On Saturday we were up at 8am and headed off back to the airfield were they had a collection of 28 classic cars that came in for the day, they were all very nice indeed! After we had a good look at them we went to the balcony under the tower and had a chicken burger with chips and  a cup of tea which I shared Sapphire and Jazz. Their lunch was so nice they licked their chops for half an hour!  Since we were sheltered from cold breeze we sat in the sun and watched the planes coming in to land and take off, we even saw one of the 3 Midland Air Ambulances come in to refuel. To my surprise both Sapphire and Jazz poked their heads through the railings to watch the air ambulance land and refuel They weren’t even scared by all the noise going on around them. The dogs really enjoyed all the fuss they had on their day out.

Today ( Sunday ) we waited for Mum and Brian to get home from National Terrier Show to have a cup of tea with them before Mum, Sapphire, Jazz and myself went to Whittington Castle.  Sapphire and Jazz as usual stormed the castle where they had a lot of fuss from the visitors, you could say it was very busy there being Easter weekend! One of  the events was try you're hand at archery, Mum and I had a go at archery, it was  fun, there was also  an Easter egg hunt and an Art and craft show, and a tombola table. We had a go at the tombola, and  all laughed when Sapphire and Jazz won an Easter Egg which of course they gave to  heir Uncle Ian to eat. By the time we got home Mum, Sapphire and Jazz were tired from all the excitement, after tea we all relaxed in front of the TV, it had been a very busy weekend of nothing but fun so for now we will say bye bye and do another report for you all soon. So this is Sapphire, Jazz and Ian ( The K9 Marshal Crews roaming reporters logging off in North Shropshire )

Thank you Ian a non stop weekend for you, hope the trailer did not get to dirty carrying all that top soil. Looking at the cars I fancy the red one with the pop up headlights. When we first came to Brailes Jon had an old Scimitar, a really fun car unfortunately he did not have time to devote to keep it going and in maintaining it  so he sold it. Sounds like you all had a great time at Whittington Castle, we must visit the castle one day!

he Lotus is actually a second generation Lotus Elite, powered by the LV(Lotus Vauxhall)220 engine used in the Jensen Healey and Sunbeam Lotus rally car. All desirable cars but not renowned for their reliability.
