Good Morning Bloggers, the sun shone on Tuesday so we took the opportunity to take Solo and Ecco out for a long walk through the forestry. They almost went paddling - but not quite! Spring must be here because we heard the cuckoo calling. I found out last year that only the male calls - the female is silent. It was quite exciting to see a pair of Red Kites circling above us and we stood and watched them for ages. Good news that Stuart is out of hospital , Angela must be very relieved to have him home. We enjoyed the company at the BTA Show on the weekend. It was nice to see so many visitors and catch up with lots of Bloggers. Agnes, the Bedlington from Bedlington brought a big fan club with her and stole the show! I can't remember meeting a dog from there at a club show before. She was bred by a Mr. Mrs. Lovell so perhaps some of you may know them.
I'm writing the breed notes for Our Dogs again for a couple of weeks while Ken is in Kenya. Let me know if you have any news to be included. We're off to WELKS for the weekend. Bedlingtons are first in ring 12 at 10am. Lets hope for a lovely sunny day. Enid
Thank you Enid, when the sun shines there is nothing better than a long walk in the spring countryside. Today it is pouring with rain, shame as we were having an agility class this afternoon! It was fantastic to see Agnes and Louise in the ring, Agnes got the biggest cheer of the day for second place in the minor puppy class. Good luck to everyone showing at WELKS. We are not showing but going along to take photos.
