This lovely coat was kniitted by Lynne Sankey for her bedlington Charlie. I am half way through a pink coat for Chelsea.. Don’t be put off as it is easy to knit. I hade to go to You Tube to find out how to cast on!!! .Just take a copy of the pattern into the wool shop and they will they help you select a suitable wool and needles. Just £6 for three balls of wool to complete  this for Chelsea.

Lynne which side is the right side the knobbly or the flatter pattern?
What needles did you use with the Aran wool?

Moss stitch is easy Row 1 - K1, P1 to end then ROW 2 k1, P1 to end this is worked on even sts the pattern wasnt lond enough in body for my male so if you need it longer keep knitting rows until correct size upto divide for the neck

so basically when you have knitted a stitch on a row you purl in on next row Hope this helps x

Andrea i would happily knit one for you what colour would you like, also i need some measurements length from neck to start of tail. i do have a couple to do first but they don't take that long.

I thought that you had done moss (or seed) stich. It makes a nice firm material and looks smart.

Send the photo to me, I post everything on the blog. Having control stops people possibly posting unsuitable letters or material to the blog.

You must be a very quick Knitter as it seems to be taking me ages
Moss stick is just Knit 1 purl on even number of stiches. That is much easier
