Update Dylan

Just an update on little Dylan, the vet said he's making good progress, the holes are still weeping but not as bad and he doesn't need an operation which is a relief. He seems more himself today down to the medication the vet gave him with a lot of TLC and loads of cuddles, I also read him all the nice comments from his friends so hopefully he's up and about soon. I just hope it hasn't scared him.Debbie.

We all need to do what we can to make sure dog attacks on other dogs are criminalised - bombard your local MP, write to the press, involve dog charities - anything to bring this anomaly to people's attention.
Collectively, the dog world can surely get something done

On the above - have just fired off an e-mail to my MP, asking why these attacks are not an offence. Will let you know if there's any response (but don't hold your breath...)

Best wishes to little Dylan for a speedy recovery, and no long-term psychological damage (although his people might not recover so quickly)
Love from all at Sevray xx

Dear little Dylan, so, so glad to hear you're feeling more yourself and are healing well. Ronnie sends love and cuddles- she knows exactly how you feel- she was attacked by a Mastiff cross a few months back- it clamped onto her nose and swung her around like a ragdoll. Horrifying. as with you, the scumbag owner did off and the police didn't care. Now, a few months on, Ronnie's scars have almost completely healed and it doesn't seem to have affected her one bit! She's still friendly, confident and outgoing and still runs up to other dogs to play (in some ways I wish it had made her a bit more fearful, knowing how many irresponsible oowners there are out there...)Take heart little man, youwill be bright eyed and bushy tailed again soon X

Short update - have had a reply from my MP, who says he will look further into this issue. If everyone else contacts their own MP, who knows, perhaps the collective complaints will stir up some action
