It’s been a quiet week, I’ve been poorly with a chest infection and tucked up on the sofa most of last week. The dogs enjoyed extra company, and Jasper is such a good little ‘nurse’ - he refused to sit on the bed at my feet like the others, insisting on only sitting on my lap with paws on my hands so I could only lie there and rest.
By Sunday, it was such a lovely day, we decided to blow away the cobwebs and explored another bit of railway track between Ebchester and Shotley Bridge. I don’t know how we had previously missed out this section, since we have walked the lengths either side. Lovely autumn sunshine, nice views, but also sheltered and flat. It was good to see how well Jasper is walking – no need for rests or a ride in the rucksack now.
The sharped eyed among you may have noticed Tony has a change of image. His November moustache is growing well, only half way through the month. He went for the ‘Magnum PI look’. He’s done the easy bit – growing his ‘tash, now just needs to spread the word: http://mobro.co/tonyblenkinsopp
Best wishes Sarah
Thank you Sarah pleased you are feeling better. It is great to read Jasper is fit and able to walk without being carried. Maybe the cool weather has helped him on his way! P I Tony! Definitely the Magnum look, he just needs Father Christmas to bring him a red Ferrari. Hope the appeal goes well!
